WORKSHEET

What a week of left-waiting chats costs.

4 numbers from you, 3 multiplications from us. Every figure on this page comes from what you type. We add no industry benchmarks, because we would be inventing them.

no industry average is added anywhere

Enter 4 numbers: your reps, WhatsApp conversations per rep per week, average deal value, and your own guess at the share left unanswered. This worksheet multiplies them into the value sitting in left-waiting conversations each week and each month. Every figure comes from you: your numbers, our arithmetic, and no industry benchmarks.

THE WORKSHEET

Your numbers, our arithmetic.

Fill in the 4 fields and the sums update as you type. No industry benchmarks are invented anywhere on this page. Where a number is missing, the line stays blank. Prefer paper? Print this page and it becomes a blank worksheet.

People, not numbers. A rep with 2 numbers is still 1 rep.

Customer conversations each rep handles in a typical week. Your best estimate is fine.

What a closed deal is typically worth to you.

Your own guess at how many conversations get no reply or a too-late one. We do not supply this number, because nobody knows your team but you.

The arithmetic, shown

  1. Conversations your team handles in a week

    reps × conversations each =

  2. Of those, left waiting, by your own estimate and not ours

    × = conversations a week

  3. Value sitting in those conversations, per week

    × per deal =

  4. And per month

    × 4 weeks =

Read it honestly. This is the value sitting in unanswered conversations, not a revenue forecast. Not every left-waiting chat was a deal that would have closed. If you think half of them were live, halve the number. The arithmetic is yours to adjust; that is why it is shown.

The method, in full

Your reps × conversations per rep gives the week's conversation count. Your unanswered share, the number you supplied because nobody knows your team but you, gives how many of them were left waiting. Your average deal value prices what was sitting in them, and the month is simply 4 of those weeks.

What this page does not do: supply an industry response-rate figure, a "typical" close rate, or any multiplier of our own. Pages that do are guessing on your behalf. If you want the real version of the unanswered share instead of a guess, that is a measurement, and it is exactly what response tracking and coverage report from your own linked numbers, and the metrics guide defines how every one of those figures is calculated.

If the number bothers you

The worksheet's weakest input is the guess. 2 weeks of real data replaces it: link your company numbers, change nothing about how the team works, and read the actual unanswered share off the dashboard. The how it works page covers what linking involves for the team properly.

Swap the guess for a measurement.

2 weeks of real data beats any worksheet. Fifteen minutes, your own numbers, no slides.
